An Arizona Rose

(The Lady Banksia)

Along in Arizona, grows a wondrous rose
You don't have to know where to find her
Just need to follow your nose.

The rose is a wonder with a million blooms
Wait 'til you see her, and her perfect scent looms
She is a record, in that great Guinness book
Climb upon the fence, take yourself a look.

This silent lady is tall, elegant and fine,

She keeps herself just perfect

Like a vintage wine.

She’s a lady, never to be missed.

Wait until you look upon

A lady that can’t be kissed.
She is the Banksia, an old Lady all alone
She lives in Arizona, in a quiet little town, they call

Tombstone!
